• About Us

Accounting for Energy is the UK’s leading independent provider of land rent audits. We understand the complexities of land rent payments and are passionate about ensuring fair and accurate returns for the renewable energy produced on our clients’ land.

Three out of four independent reviews undertaken in 2016 highlighted revenue underpayments, which we successfully recovered on behalf of our clients.

We are experts in reviewing lease payments due from wind farms, hydro and landfill sites, and work closely with many large energy companies to provide independent reviews on behalf of their renewable energy partners.

    Our Team

Since founding in 2014, we have grown rapidly, working with a range of clients from individual landowners to organisations and companies of all sizes. Our team is comprised of experienced lawyers, engineers and other professionals. We are a member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and each review is led by a Chartered Accountant who holds the ICAEW’s Audit Qualification.
